90 Years of the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber - Supporting local business since 1936
For 90 years, the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber has been part of the story of our city.
Established in 1936, the Chamber has brought local businesses together, advocated on the issues that matter and supported initiatives that have contributed to the growth of Wagga Wagga.
Across nine decades, the way we support business has evolved, but our purpose has remained much the same: to connect local businesses, provide a strong collective voice and contribute to a thriving local community.

Part of Wagga's story
The Chamber’s history extends well beyond business. In 1946, the Chamber established the Community Advancement Fund, which supported many local sporting, cultural and community initiatives over its time.
The Chamber also founded the Miss Wagga Wagga Quest in 1948, creating a community fundraising tradition that continues today.
Since 1986, the Golden Crow Awards have celebrated the achievements of Wagga Wagga businesses and businesspeople. Now in their 40th year, the Awards remain an important part of the Chamber’s legacy and our commitment to recognising local business excellence.
Behind these milestones are generations of local businesspeople who volunteered their time, shared their expertise and worked together to strengthen our business community.
